Our History

Prior to October 1, 2023, Simtra BioPharma Solutions was Baxter BioPharma Solutions, a business unit of Baxter. Our heritage is hence built on over 90 years of innovation in healthcare. Baxter was the first manufacturer to prepare intravenous (IV) solutions and the first to offer closed system IV containers and premixed drug solutions.

These and many other Baxter “firsts” have fueled our passion for continual innovation and our relentless focus on excellence at every turn. And both as part of Baxter and now, as Simtra, we have not hesitated to expand our facilities, capacity and capabilities as part of our innovation strategy. At Simtra, we build on our heritage to create our future.
