Lidia Serina

Lidia is responsible for the Development Services group at Simtra BioPharma Solutions, working closely with clients to develop injectable products and manufacturing processes that consistently deliver a high-quality product to the market. With a strong background globally, her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to build Development Services, leveraging our existing capabilities and adding resources, dedicated equipment and capacity to meet the needs of clinical projects.

Prior to joining Simtra, Lidia served as Vice President at Lonza AG, where she oversaw a 3,000-employee manufacturing plant responsible for delivering more than 70 products. Her distinguished career also includes leadership positions at Curevac, GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi Pasteur.

At Simtra, Lidia is at the helm of a strategic area critical to our mission. Lidia brings to Simtra a breadth of key competencies and strengths in the areas of supply chain, vaccine research and development, quality and regulatory compliance, and commercial and clinical manufacturing. Her technical expertise and experience with various molecule types will help Simtra solve its clients’ broad range of issues that come with product development and manufacturing.
