Jim leads Simtra BioPharma Solution’s legal, risk and integrity functions, including ESG and information security. He is responsible for guiding the company through the intricate legal and compliance challenges that come with delivering vital injectable products to patients worldwide in a highly regulated environment.

Prior to joining Simtra, Jim served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for several healthcare and medical technology companies, including most recently at Augmedics, Inc., and ApiJect Systems Corporation. He also served in executive leadership roles at NuVasive, Inc., where he was responsible for risk and integrity, business and quality systems, and government and regulations strategy across multiple global business units. Prior to going in-house, Jim practiced law with firms serving a variety of industries, including biological sciences/healthcare, retail and manufacturing.

Jim’s career is marked by his commitment to supporting innovation while upholding the highest standards of compliance and ethical business practices. His leadership is instrumental in ensuring that Simtra not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our customers and the regulatory bodies that oversee our industry.
