Evolving With Our Customers
Our Halle/Westfalen facility is in the final stage of a $100 million expansion. This expansion builds upon previous investments to add both manufacturing capacity and new technologies aimed at staying at the forefront of development and manufacturing for leading-edge parenteral products. Simtra BioPharma Solutions will continue to invest in its facilities to meet current and evolving customer needs.
Significant Additions
Construction of a new building to increase capacity is now complete. The building spans well over 19,000 square feet (1,800+ square meters), expanding the entire Halle/Westfalen production area to nearly 130,000 square feet (12,000 square meters) and creating 150 new jobs.
Providing adaptability to meet specific customer requirements, the expansion includes a new GMP-ready high-speed isolator prefilled syringe line and a new isolator vial filling line, equipped with lyophilizers, that will be ready for commercial manufacturing in early 2026.
This expansion enables Simtra to provide high-quality, flexible and innovative drug product manufacturing for complex molecules to more customers worldwide.
